HBO TO SHOW THREE FIGHTS FROM ST. CHARLES

HBO's broadcast team of Bob Papa (play-by-play), Max Kellerman (analysis) and Roy Jones (analysis) will be in town to cover Saturday's boxing card at Family Arena in St. Charles. HBO is set to show three bouts on its telecast that begins at 8:45 p.m. — Bermane Stiverve vs. Ray Austin, Tavoris Cloud vs. Yusaf Mack, then Devon Alexander vs. Lucas Matthysse. The program will be repeated at 7:30 a.m. Sunday and 11:14 a.m. Monday. It also will be on HBO2 at 3 p.m. Sunday and midnight when Monday turns into Tuesday.

Kicking it around • The title game of the CONCACAF Gold Cup soccer tournament, at 8 p.m. Saturday in which the United States plays Mexico, will be televised on a couple networks that might not be familiar to most casual sports fans: Fox Soccer, an English-language outlet, and Univision, on which the coverage will be in Spanish. In some cases, viewers will require a subscription to a cable or satellite package beyond basic service. Here's where they're located:

• Fox Soccer: DirecTV, Channel 619; Dish Network, Channel 149; Charter cable, Channel 403; AT&T U-verse, Channel 654

• Univision: DirecTV, Channel 402; Dish Network, Channel 270; Charter cable, Channel 17.

More soccer • ESPN/ESPN2 will televise all 32 matches of the Women's World Cup, which will be played throughout Germany beginning Sunday and running through July 17, and has constructed a special two-level set from which many of its shows related to the event will originate. The unit was built in Holland and is mobile, allowing ESPN to broadcast from several historic locations in Germany as well as the soccer venues. Among the non-soccer locations scheduled to be showcased are:

• The Lutheran church in Dresden that was built in the 1700s and heavily damaged in World War II, but was reconstructed and now serves as a symbol of reconciliation. Broadcasts from there are set for Tuesday and Wednesday.

• The Market Place at Heidelberg, adjacent to the historic Town Hall and Neptune Fountain. These broadcasts are scheduled for July 1-3.

• The Phaeno Science Center in Wolfsburg, the city in which Volkswagen is based. These dates are July 5-6.
