Missouri native Brad Huff just missed capturing a second title at the USA Cycling Elite track championships Thursday, finishing second in the individual pursuit. Huff, a native of Springfield, entered the final as the favorite but lost to Tyler Phinney, junior world time trial champion. Huff admitted that he had a lot of DNA to overcome. Tyler is the son of Olympians Davis Phinney and Connie Carpenter and beat Huff by 2.5 seconds.
