Massive interview with Floyd Landis
Neal Rogers of Velonews has a lengthy Q&A interview online with 2006 Tour de France champ Floyd Landis. It’s long and you need to set aside a lot of time to read the whole thing.
The interview deals with everything from Landis’ discussions with Rock Racing, to his velonews-facilitated Q&A with USA Cycling chief Steve Johnson to Landis’ doping case.
The most powerful stuff is Landis’ assertion that the two arbitrators who wrote the majority opinion in his case against the USADA made some decisions while meeting with Olympics officials in Beijing and without consulting with the minority opinion arbitrator. This explosive assertion, as well as much of the discussion about Landis’ case, is on the second of two webpages on which the story appears.
