Ouch, Big Maggie gets broken

Mrs. 10 Speed just sent me a link that one of my cycling heroes suffered a broken collarbone Thursday in the fifth stage of the Tour of Qatar.
That would be big Magnus Bäckstedt of Slipstream-Chipotle. Big Maggie is the only guy in the pro peloton remotely close to 10 Speed’s 6-4, 2%& pounds, so he’s a natural role model. (Big George Hincapie is as tall as moi, but he’s all sinew and skeleton and weighs half as much — or less – as this big fella.)
Big Maggie’s supposed to be OK for the spring classics, though, where he and Big George will duke (pedal) it out.
