Tour of California announces lineup

Ten (10) Pro Tour teams, led by Astana of Johan Bruyneel and by CSC, and noted anti-doping American team Slipstream-Chipotle will be among the 18 teams competing next month in the Tour of California.
Joining Astana and CSC from the Pro Tour will be Rabobank, Quick Step, Saunier Duval, Gerolsteiner, Credit Agricole, Bouygues Telecom, the Liquigas boys (Phil Liggett shout-out there) and High Road Sports (formerly T-Mobile).
In addition to Slipstream-Chipotle, Jelly Belly (the team of Springfield, Mo.’s Brad Huff), BMC, Toyota-United, Health Net-Maxxis, Bissell, Kelly Benefit Strategies and that happen’ Rock Racing will round out the field.
The Tour of California will begin on Feb. 17. Astana will train in New Mexico later this month.
