Big day for American teams at Criterium International: Big Jens Voight of U.S.-sponsored CSC won the Criterium International for the fourth time, building a big enough lead in the second stage Sunday to be able to coast defending it in the time trial later in the day.

Voight was 43rd in the time trial, 52 seconds in arrears of stage winner Edvald Boasson Hagen of Team High Road. Overall, Voight beat CSC teammate Gustav Larsson by 57 seconds.

Sevilla gets rocked: Oscar Sevilla of Rock Racing was nosed out by one second Sunday at the San Dimas Stage Race, losing to Cameron Evans of Symmetrics
Evans started the day 11th but finished in the yellow jersey by winning bonuses as part of the two-man breakaway in the 90-minute Cannondale Incycle Old Town Classic Criterium.
“It was a little bit of a miscalculation on our part,” Rock Racing owner Michael Ball stated in a team release. “We will re-adjust things next week at the Redlands Classic and come out on the top like we intended to today.”
Big day for Team Type 1: Emile Abraham of Team Type 1 finished third in the final stage of the San Dimas Stage Race, winning the sprint to the finish behind stage winner Luis Amaran of Colavita-Sutter Home and Evans.
Teammate Chris Jones also had jumped into the breakaway with Amaran and Evans, but was dropped with five laps to go in the 90-minute criterium stage.
Jones finished 13th overall, 41 seconds behind race winner Evans.
