Update on injured Tecos-Trek rider

Fausto Esparza, seriously injured in a bad crash earlier this month in the final stage of the Tour of the Gila in New Mexico, is out of intensive care, but he remains hospitalized.

At last report, he was paralyzed from the mid-section down, and his family and friends have been praying the rosary daily at 8 p.m. They ask that readers join them and send a prayer Fausto’s way at 8 p.m. wherever you may be. 

Also, a fund has been set up to benefit Fausto, his wife and three children. Donations may be sent to:
