Father’s Day bike ride scheduled for South Grand area
The St. Louis Bicycle Federation is partnering with the South Grand Community Improvement District for the First Annual South Grand Tour St. Louis Father’s Day Bike Ride on Sunday morning.
Here’s the ride info from the Bike Fed release …
– The ride has three distances to choose from: 5, 18 or 34 miles.
– Start time and registration will take place between 7:00 and 9:00 a.m. in the parking lot behind Commerce Bank, 3C, 63118.
– Cost is $5 for dads and $7 for everyone else (kids age 10 and under ride free).
– For more information visit online www.stlbikefed.org or call 314-707-5001. Proceeds will benefit the St. Louis Regional Bicycle Federation.
– The ride is intended to encourage families and city dwellers to take advantage of the city’s bicycle lanes for fun, exercise, and viable transportation.
–The St. Louis Regional Bicycle Federation will offer maps and informative literature on bike commuting and safety. St. Louis Bicycle WORKS will offer mechanical safety checks and minor repairs on site and Gateway Arch Riverfront will have bikes available for rental. Come out and enjoy the beautiful, historic scenery of St. Louis.
