Rock Racing’s Oscar Sevilla won the Commerce Bank Reading Classic on Thursday — the second of three legs in the Commerce Bank Triple Crown of Cycling.
Sevilla, who recently won a stage and finished ninth in the Tour of Colombia, crossed the finishing line first in the 74-mile race after riding away from his four-man breakaway group with an attack six miles from the finish. Moises Aldape and Valeriy Kobzarenko of Team Type 1 and Bernardo Colex of Tecos-Trek were with Sevilla until the attack the climb of Mt. Penn.
The Commerce Bank Triple Crown of Cycling concludes Sunday with the Philadelphia International Cycling Championship, a 156-mile race.
