Winner takes a dive at Harlem
Dave Luecking
Saint Louis Post-Dispatch

Right off the top, ol’ 10 Speed is happy to report that the cyclist on the ground in the photo below — Erik Barlevav of TIME Pro Cycling — was OK after his crash landing at the finishing line of the 35th annual Skyscraper Harlem Cycling Classic presented by Rock Racing Sunday in East Harlem.

Barlevav won the race, shoving his front wheel across the line just ahead of Rock Racing’s Rahsaan Bahati (right) and scaring the beejeesus out of everyone behind him — particularly the Colvita-Sutter Homes rider to the far left and Rock’s Freddie Rodriquez, who is second from the left). Freddie has tasted the pavement a few too many times in his career, and looks to be just about to snap off his brake handles while keeping himself upright.
