Another rider in Missouri makes a splash

Buried on the start list for Team Columbia in the Tour of Missouri is a sleeper rider to watch: Marco Pinotti. Not only is he the three-time time trial champion of Italy, he won the final stage and overall title in the Tour of Ireland on Sunday. Read about it here.
Pinotti is the icing on Columbia’s triple-layer chocolate cake of defending champ Big George Hincapie, four-stage Tour de France winner Mark Cavendish and three-time world time-trial champ Michael Rogers.
With Zabriskie winning the U.S. time trial, the Tour of Missouri is shaping up as a bragging rights event for the U.S. based teams.
