Brad Huff of Springfield, Mo., won the final stage in the Tour of Elk Grove on Sunday, crossing the finishing line first in the 110 kilometer Gullo Pro Men Criterium

Huff, who rides for Jelly Bell, outsprinted David Veilleux of Kelly Benefits Strategies/Medifast and Freddie Rodriguez of Rock Racing.

Veilleux was the overall winner in the three-stage race sponsored by Alexian Brothers. Stage 2 winner Hilton Clarke of Toyota-United finished second overall, 10 seconds behind Veilleux, and Stage 1 winner Tom Zirbel of Bissell was third, 13 seconds in arrears. Huff placed fourth overall, three seconds behind Zirbel.

Astana’s Chris Horner, three seconds off the race lead after the opening stage time trial, crashed in the bunch finish of stage 2 and suffered a broken left collarbone that may adversely impact his participating in the Vuelta a Espana next month.
