After watching Fabian Cancellara’s fabulous ride Saturday in the Olympics road race, I’m picking the world time trial champ to win the Olympics time trial on Wednesday as well.

The real race will be for second place. I’m liking Levi Leipheimer of the United States and Kim Kirchen of Luxembourg for the silver and bronze.

Other contenders should be American David Zabriskie, Alberto Contador of Spain, Stefan Schumacher of Germany, Cadel Evans of Australia and Denis Menchov of Russia.

I don’t think anyone can touch Cancellara, tho.
