I’ll give mine for the podium.

1. Alberto Contador

2. Cadel Evans

3. Carlos Sastre

Tempted to go with Andy Schleck, but he’s got to prove his time-trialing ability.

For the prologue, look for Bradley Wiggins and Fabian Cancellara. I’d like to go with Mick Rogers, but he said he fell yesterday on his right hip. Doh!

Ouch. Contado is still a good pick, but you forgot to factor in the team time trial. Although hind sight is always better, Evans had no chance at this years tour with time losses not being limited in the team time trial.

Huh? You picked two riders (Evans and Sastre) with little or no team support. Sastre won last year because of team support at critical times (i.e. Schleck bros). Oh yeah, and because Lance, Levi, Kloden and Contador weren’t there.

Cadel will never win the tour. Doesn’t have the team or the mental set.

There are 4 guys on Astana alone that will finish ahead of Sastre and Evans. Just depends on who Astana sacrifices in the Alps.

Andy Schleck a strong darkhorse pick for third.
