Fausto Esparza, seriously injured in a bad crash earlier this month in the final stage of the Tour of the Gila in New Mexico, is out of intensive care, but he remains hospitalized.

Toyota-United riders step up to help injured Tecos-Trek rider

Injured Tecos rider rode at Tour of Missouri

Fausto Esparza Munoz, the Tecos-Trek rider seriously injured Sunday in a crash on the final stage of the Tour of the Gila, rode for Tecos last September in the inaugural Tour of Missouri.

In the Tour of Missouri, he was listed as Fausto Marcelino Esparza.
