TF, you pea picker! How long have you known? I had you pegged ASAP, how long did it take you to get me? Yep, they didn’t like what I said about the 1st female, and yet they sent me an email saying I’m good to go, but I decided there is life after F2. They got me and Sunset. We had one heck of a debate goin’ and it was GREAT but they pulled the rug. I took em to task, got in touch with the station mgr., the idiot webmaster (lucky she finds her way to work at all),and others, and we went up one wall and down the other as only southerners can do! You can’t take anyone to task for or on a subject where you are an ignorant butt head, but they do and took my comments completely out of context UNTIL I sent them a picture along with a definition of what that word meant. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? That mgr. would blow a fuse if he knew the entire conversation was taped with him screaming at me! Plus, they never would give me an explanation of why they decided to do what they did - and, how did you know about it? Tell, tell, tell. I figured if they do what they did they should have a dang good reason for doing it but they are such cowards they never would say!

I could go back anytime but I’ve found that only a few are still there and not worth bothering with much anymore. This one is much more open to postive comments and maybe something good will come of it - lets hope so.

And, yep, I remember the redeye!

About half a second darlin’! You are way to recognizable to any one with half a brain. I did not know you and the webmaster had anything going, but I am not suprised at all. Stubborn old bitty! I tell ya, you still crack me up. We rebels have to stick together no matter what. We may disagree most of the time, but that is what makes it fun!
The only reason I guessed was because I have seen F2 do it to others, me included. STLtoday lets us debate a lot better, without much remorse.

The swim-club didn’t tell the obnoxious new people that a bunch of non-white kids would “change the complexion” of the club. They specified “kids”. If this is any type of discriminatory behavior it’s age discrimination, and it’s normally quite acceptable to exclude children if the presence of children becomes a problem.

The choice of words including “complexion” was unfortunate in light of the fact the obnoxious/disruptive new users were non-whites, but the word means other things than skin-tone. My dictionary lists the meaning constitution or makeup before anything referring to skin. The ranking or ordering of definitions of a word usually denotes the last ones are those least perfect or less common.

Children do not have an adult ability to control their impulses and thus tend to be disruptive. Some accommodations prefer to suffer the disruptions because they feel they get a benefit from being welcoming to people who may have disruptive children.

I was in the library the other day. Some woman was continuing to stay there even though one of her children was intermittently shrieking. She ought to have left instead of repeatedly and ineffectively endeavoring to induce the child to remain quiet. I’m not talking about mere speech or even loud speech, but hangover-banging shrieking. Though the swim-club incident was more likely to do with the presence of too many children with too few controlling adults present with them than with race, since all the usual suspects are charging a racist motivation in the swim-club incident, I wonder if any of the readers here would like to guess the race of the woman failing to control the periodic repeated shrieking of her child in the library? Is anyone having a problem guessing?

This is why diversity is not a strength in our society, but a weakness.

If any cross-racial complaint about any insufferable behavior is lodged, if the complainant is white and the misbehaver black, racism is almost always at least suspected and is often blatantly charged.

in the McCluer HSs and culminated eventually in his murder of Christine
Smetzer–drowned in a toilet bowl in a girl’s lavatory during Taylor’s
brutal aminalistic rape of the girl–a black-on-white crime. I just thought I’d mention the races of the perpetrator and victim since
race was needlessly and wrongfully intruded into this discussion of the
swim-club incident.

That means in racially mixed situations part of the parent/adult population are restricted or discouraged from participating in it “taking a village to raise a child”.

That dog don’t hunt. It’s difficult enough to have the outlandish uncivilized immature behavior of a community’s children curbed when every adult willing to do his or her share is enabled to do so.

Having part of that population canceled out is no strength, it’s a prescription for disaster—look around you and behold the reaping of the whirlwind.

Those characterizing this incident at the swim club as racist or bad should be ashamed. That they are not just illustrates my point–they’re products of several generations of an extremely—actually literally a self-consciously—”diverse” society.

Adverse would be a better term than diverse.

Meanwhile, any likely responses to this post will illustrate readily that the supposed lovers of diversity mean it only in the sense of skin-color quotas and certainly not in any other sense, such as a diversity of ideas.

The last I heard about the swim-club story they were inviting the disruptive group back–caving in to all the negative unwarranted charges of a racist motivated exclusion-from-facilities. The management of that club should be ashamed of themselves for caving-in. I hope their pool cracks and needs a million dollars worth of repairs. That’s the least of what they’d deserve for that cowardly knuckling-under to the same type of nonsense as occurred when that nappy-headed ‘ho’ accused those lacrosse-players of white-on-black rape. Of course it was all lies, and that’s the same as the accusation this swim-club incident was some sort of white-on-black victimization.

Hey black people! Here’s a clue! If you don’t want white people giving you the stink-eye everywhere you go and using any excuse they can find to exclude you, try controlling the obnoxious insufferable behavior of your children to standards consistent with those in the general society instead “standards” in your little festering enclaves. You never know–you just might be pleasantly surprised. While you’re at it, stop listening to the jerks who hold the leashes attached to the rings in your collective noses who find it so much easier to lead you down any garden-path they find useful or profitable to them so long as they lie seductively to you “everyone else is just as bad as you are”.

What a scam that is!

NOTE: the use of the term “standards” does not refer to flags. I just thought I’d better clarify that since so many people have so much trouble using context to accurately select between shades of meaning many words possess. Evidently every time someone says or writes something now they’re going to have to include a vocabulary list like some books mainly aimed at the children’s market have or as codes of ordinances may.

TF - the webmaster is female and young and stupid,then you have the station manager that is Sooooooooooo threatened it’s ridiculous, particularly by a female! A male chauvinist hog! You DARE to disagree with him and he goes balistic and then accuses YOU of doing what they all have done! (The exact reason of why I taped the conversation!) Screams racist, when they have about 80 plus employees at both stations, with only 6 or so black employee’s! - so you tell me! Who is discriminating here? Besides the word I used had been used TWO MONTHS prior to their operation on me and Sunset!

I do know why she does not like us, but did not want to go there. I am married to a white woman and that offends her big time. I am also the only black person that lives in our neighborhood. I guess it will just be that way. You know, she is the only one around us that acts that way. See, my theory that most people are good people holds up once again!
I will not hold this against her though. Just bad upbringing I guess.
