It was business as usual at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport today - the first day the airport served as a backdrop for the latest George Clooney flick, “Up in the Air.”

“That’s how we want it,” said Lambert spokesman Jeff Lea.

Lea said filming took place at “various spots” in the airport and no passengers were blocked from getting to their flights on time.

The film crew has a permit to keep filming at the airport through late next week. Lea wouldn’t go into detail about locations or security precautions the airport may be taking. He just said Day 1 went “very smooth.”
