Not enough warning before those orange cones pop up on the highway? Traffic moving too slowly? Safety a concern?
MoDOT officials this week asked motorists to weigh in on specific construction work zones around the state with the aim of making them safer and more efficient.
Early returns show most work zones are meeting motorist expectations for visibility and cleanliness. And nine of 10 motorists said traffic flow through work zones met their expectations. That’s based on comments that have been gathered since the first of the year.
