Hwy 40 closed westbound, crews now closing eastbound

At 9:25 this morning, the last car entered westbound Highway 40 (Interstate 64) at Kingshighway and crews closed the final lane. They’re in the process of closing lanes heading east, starting with flyover ramp from southbound Interstate 170 to eastbound 40. Dan Galvin, spokesman for Gateway Constructors, expects a full closure before noon.
