Full closures on Clayton Road end
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Drivers on Clayton Road have put up with more than their fair share of road closures at the Highway 40 (Interstate 64) overpass. That’s coming to an end. Crews have finished installing the bridge supports on the new overpass. And tonight, the road closes one last time so crews can put up the final deck panels (the road surface will be poured on top of the panels).
The headaches continue. Next month, crews will be pouring the driving surface on top of the bridge, requiring some lanes to be closed — just not all of them.

How many more disasterous truck wreck will we tolerate before demanding better controls? I see these truckers speeding, tail-gateing and driving recklessly on our expressways all the time. Should we call 911 for all the offenses? Would the police start doing something then?
