Handing out candy for Prop M
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
College students will be handing out packages of M&M’s for Proposition M. Tomorrow and Friday, the students will be handing out the candy with information supporting the tax measure, which would increase revenue for transit and will be on Tuesday’s ballot. The students will be at the following stations between 7 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., and 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. : I-64 Brentwood, Clayton, UMSL, Shrewsbury. They’ll also be at the Washington University Medical Complex.

Bribery!
Metro had nothing to do with this, it was organized by college students who support Metro. Hard to believe, I know, that people actually organize on their own to stand up for something they believe in.
You can buy my vote for M&Ms, but it will have to be the big bag, not one of those weenie “snacksized” bags with four M&Ms in it.
What? Why aren’t they trying to bring attention to “M” in areas where people are not likely to vote for it and maybe sway some voters their way? Obviously, most people who are riding Metro are for the tax. It’s like preching to the choir: a waste of time.
