Grab a brush, paint a bus

Artists and wanna-be-artists will have the chance to paint a Metro bus on Sept. 26.
From noon to 2 p.m., a bus will serve as a canvas at the 2009 Green Homes Festival at 3617 Grandel Square, in the theater district off of Grand Boulevard. It won’t exactly be a blank canvas. The bus will be decorated with an outline of drawings that depict green living. It will be paint by numbers, so even children can participate. The paint will be provided by Arts in Transit.
Once the paint is on, the bus will join Metro’s fleet of community art buses sponsored by various groups.
