On Highway 40, a paving milestone

Here’s the latest on the Highway 40 (Intersate 64) construction front:
As of yesterday, crews have finished paving four lanes each way between McCutcheon Road and Clayton/Warson roads. The 2.5-mile strips of highway required pouring 40,000 cubic yards of concrete. Crews today are paving the outer shoulder on the eastbound side, and will finish pouring concrete medians and ramps before finishing the lanes between McCutcheon and Brentwood Boulevard.
