First-team cornerback Ron Bartell sat out Rams practice Thursday. The nature of his injury could not be immediately determined, but we’ll query coach Scott Linehan this afternoon.

Also, guard Jacob Bell (hamstring) was more active and looks as if he might be ready by Sunday. Defensive end Leonard Little (hamstring) also was getting in fairly substantial work.

The team was in full pads, somewhat unusual for a Thursday.

Wideout Eddie Kennison made a twisting, diving catch, spurring an enthusiastic reaction from offensive coordinator Al Saunders.
