Bulger back with first team

The first Rams practice under Jim Haslett began at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, and it soon was evident that at least one thing had changed: Marc Bulger was back with the first team at quarterback.

“Marc will be the starting quarterback for the rest of the year, unless something happens,” Haslett said.

The defensive line looked much like it did Sunday, with Clifton Ryan at nose tackle, Adam Carriker at the other tackle, Chris Long at right end, and Leonard Little and Victor Adeyanju sharing time at left end. The linebackers were Pisa Tinoisamoa, Chris Draft and Quinton Culberson (Will Witherspoon was out with an injury). The secondary was unchanged, with Jason Craft in for Tye Hill.

It was interesting that the No. 1 offense went against the No. 1 defense for much of the workout. Normally, the top units don’t go head-to-head. The team was in shoulder pads and shorts.

All for now . . . more this afternoon.

On ANY given day, a pro team can beat any pro team…. they have to rise to the occaision, which means they need to get off their butts and play for what they earn (which is corporate funded and way out of line).

Let’s go RAMS, play, play football, not wuuseball.

That’s the way to do it. Make decisions and act on them! Bulger’s back in! First team offense against 1st team defense! Making any decision and having to correct it is better than the Ram’s normal philosophy of doing nothing at all until the fans and media bitch it to death. Now if we could get Fakhir Brown back(which I know Haslett’s trying to do) for now and sit Hill’s injured butt down until he know’s what the heck he’s doing out there. Great moves Haslett!!!

Bulger back in at quarterback might be worse than keeping Linehan as head coach. So far this season he’s shown that if there is any rush at all he is content with laying down and taking the sack. If he’s in there he needs to man up.

Haslet can’t be any worse than Linehan, it was time for him to go! We’ll see if the whole team will play better under Haslett than Linehan. And I believe most of St. Louis’s difficult with Mark Bulger is that he replaced Kurt Warnter. I was a Warner fan too till Bulger came in when he was hurt…Warner is gone and the St. Louis fans need to grasp that Bulger is their quarterback and maybe he won’t worry so much about getting knocked down all the time…Hopefully we’re going to see alot of other positive changes other than Linehan being gone…as a Rams fan, I certainly hope so!

Everyone talks about changing the losing culture at Rams Park is impossible because the same players are there. Not true. Playing the young players will bring hustle and enthusium. You may get a few mistakes but I think its worth the pay off. Using your personell correctly is important too. Little and Glover as pass rushing speciallist keeps them fresh and allows young players Ajendeyji and Ryan to get on the field. I hope Hasslet finds a way to get OLB Chamberlain, CB Wade and OL Schuenig and Grecco on the field as well. Lets Go Rams!!

Glad Haslett is not interium. Interium spells disaster in itself. Time for Bulger to step up! Notice how hard Steven Jackson ran the ball Sunday. The rest of the Rams need to play that hard!

This team has talent, they just need to get back to basics. Haslett will light a fire under them, and if they don’t want to play they will be shown the door.

Great Bulger’s back at QB. He is now rewarded for throwing sidearm and running away from the line of scrimmage. He is also rewarded for pouting last week and being totally out of the game.
I now have for sale, two PSL’s that have only been used since 1995.
What a joke. Make him earn the spot.
