Ex-Illini Weil makes practice squad

Former University of Illinois fullback Russ Weil has been signed to the Rams’ practice squad. Others re-signed are defensive end C.J. Ah You, running back Lance Ball, offensive lineman Dustin Fry, linebacker Marc Magro, wide receiver Derek Stanley and cornerback Darius Vinnett.
The eighth spot will go to safety Eric Bassey if he clears waivers Tuesday. Bassey was let go after cornerback Ricky Manning Jr. signed his contract today.
All the practice squad members were in training camp with the Rams.

Right on “Ram Fan”
I grew up in S.Cal,I became a Ram Fan in 1967.I now live in Washington State but still follow them from the Internet.Good to read that their is still loyal fans from the times of Roman Gabriel,Jack Youngblood, etc etc.!!!
I like the way Lance Ball carries that ball,he surprised and impressed me,great addition.
