More odd goings-on at Rams Park
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Just when you thought things couldn’t get any stranger at Rams Park . . .
*Scott Linehan, who normally meets with reporters on the field as soon as practice ends, jogged off Friday without comment and reportedly was in a meeting with GM Jay Zygmunt.
*Marc Bulger, who usually is not reluctant to take questions even in the toughest of situations, made himself unavailable to the media for yet another day following his demotion.
*Steven Jackson, who on his radio show Thursday night said Linehan’s benching of Bulger was the “wrong decision” and indicated that other players felt the same way, shooed away reporters, angrily telling one, “You’ve done enough.”
And the soap opera rolls on . . .

My Rams are Now a sickened un-raveling team ..thanks to That Idiot Coach of ours….He will go down as the worst coach in Rams history….our o-line stinks….not Bulger…..Steven jackson is a puzzle to me cuz he makes a play; then takes himself out of the game…..Torrie Holt is missing in action…getting rid of Bruce is a farce…..if this bleeding heart of the Rams franchise has any left after Line-siphon-han gets done..it will be a miracle. Fire LINEHAN you idiot new owner Chip-my-tooth Rosen-Ka-boom. !!!
Leadership starts at the top and Chip Rosenbloom obviously has no clue or common sense. The “Splaying” on the walls for the past two years was fire the Linehan and Zygmunt. Common Chip - have you even been in the locker room? It is obvious Linehan has lost the respect of the players. Chip, prior to this weeks game you should of pulled your head out of the ground and looked in the mirror and executed a gut check. Chip, do you have the intestinal fortitude necessary to make a decsion based on principal? The principal fact is “our” team for the last two years have been getting our butts kicked. Read the blogs…….Rams fans do care.
Chip - if you do not want to lead then sell the team.
Jackson, maybe if you were here for camp the offense would be better, players need to execute, coaches arent telling them to get there ass kicked.
I heard Marshall Faulk on the Dan Patrick show the other day. Dan asked about the nature of a meeting he has scheduled with Chip Rosenbloom. He insisted he had no idea what they were going to discuss. Dan asked him if it was about him going to work for the Rams. Again he nervously backed away from the question and dismissed it as nothing. I’m seriously hoping he gets a job in the front office with the Rams having something to do with personnel. Coach Linehan needs to be fired after todays game and lets start shaking up the office. Scott Linehan can go coach college football in Idaho or someplace. Jay Zygmunt can go manage a Jiffy Lube. The fans deserve a playoff team in St. Louis. If Chip,s not willing to make that happen then he needs to put up the For Sale sign and move on. I’m tired of everybody laughing at this team.
IT’S ABOUT TIME BULGER TAKES A SEAT. THE RAMS WONT HAVE ANOTHER WINNING SEASON UNTIL THEY FIRE LINEHAN AND GET RID OF BULGER. WHY YOU SIGN SOMEBODY TO A HUGE CONTRACT WHEN THE BEST HE’LL EVER BE IS AS SOMEONES BACKUP–HE’S NEVER BEEN AND WILL NEVER BE STARTER MATERIAL. HE FOLDS UNDER PRESSURE. IT WOULDN’T SURPRISE ME IF THE OFFENIVE LINE HAS BEEN LETTING PEOPLE GET TO HIM HOPING TO GET HIM OUT OF THE GAME. I’VE BEEN A RAMS FAN SINCE 1979 AND THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THAT EVERYTIME MY QUARTERBACK GOES BACK TO PASS I HOPE THE DEFENSE BREAKS ONE OF HIS BONES. BE GONE BULGER SO MY TEAM CAN BE WINNERS ONCE AGAIN. YOUR KILLING US.
Linehan’s gotta go, but let’s start at the top Chip. Clean house from President on down and let’s get this thing back on track by 2010.
