Stormy days for the Rams

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

The Rams can’t seem to escape the storms. Last Saturday, the remnants from Hurricane Hanna pounded Philadelphia with high winds and heavy rains, making for a scary landing for the team’s charter flight.

On Sunday, St. Louis is caught in the track of what’s left of Hurricane Ike. Again, high winds and heavy rains greeted the players when they arrived at the Dome. And say what you want about football in domes, this was at least one instance in which indoors beat outdoors, big time.

Here are the Rams’ inactives:

Brock Berlin (3rd QB)

RB Brian Leonard

S Brannon Condren

G Jacob Bell

G Roy Schuening

WR Drew Bennett

WR Eddie Kennison

DE Leonard Little

All for now . . . more after the game.

Here’s a former Ram - I. Bruce - that was active (for the 49ers) 4 catches for over 150 yards…

I’m so sorry to see the current state of this one time Super Bowl Champion. I’m embaressed to tell people that I root for the Rams. This is my team. I said on Saturday that Marc Bulger would be sacked at least 6 times. I said the Rams would score field goals and that the Giants would score touchdowns. I also said that Steven Jackson would not rush for 100 yards. Thats how predictable this team has become. Scott Linehan may be a nice guy and a great person, but he’s lost all respect from his players and I agree with Bernie that he must resign NOW. Until then this team is finished. Can you imagine what Howie Long is saying to his son Chris? This team makes me sick. THEY DON’T EVEN TRY! PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES! MILLIONAIRS WHO DON’T TRY!

Bill, Who pays your salary? The Post or The Rams? If it’s The Post, then you owe us subscribers a better effort. Look, this is simple the D-Line allowed 200 yds Rushing that is a complete failure in the NFL. The O-Line allowed 6 sacks and Bulger got pummeled when they blew basic gap responsibilites. That, my friend, is also considered a complete failure. Why sugar coat their performance? It was nearly as bad as bad can be in the NFL.

Wow, jump on the writer with comments about the article but not take the time to see that it was written BEFORE the game.

THIS IS HOW I FEEL ABOUT THE LONG HAIR THING.IF STEVE JACKSON DON’T MINE
BEING DRAG DOWN BY HIS HAIR.WHY WORRY ABOUT IT.THERE’S SOME PLAYERS IN THE NFL WITH LONG HAIR SO WHY WORRY.THERE’S MORE THING’S TO WORRY ABOUT THEN LONG HAIR.LIKE GETTING THE RAMS TO PLAY BETTER FOOTBALL.I THINK LINELAN NEEDS TO
PUT A BOOT UP SOME PLAYERS BUTT.I WATCHED BOTH OF THOSE GAMES SOME PLAYERS ARE TRYING TO WIN.BUT SOME PLAYERS DON’T CARE.YOU TAKE THOSE PLAYERS DON’T CARE AND BEACH THEM.FIND PLAYERS THAT CARES ABOUT WINNING.
