Haslett: Jackson should be ready for Pats
An MRI exam Monday on Rams running back Steven Jackson disclosed what coach Jim Haslett termed a “slight strain” of his thigh. Jackson will be limited in practice this week, but “should be fine for the game” Sunday at New England, Haslett said.
Backup safety Todd Johnson had the most serious injury in Sunday’s 34-14 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. He bruised a kidney and is hospitalized. He’ll miss a couple of games, Haslett said.
Defensive tackle Adam Carriker suffered a sprain low on his left ankle and is questionable for Sunday’s game.
Wide receiver Derek Stanley was checked out at a hospital after he sustained a concussion but didn’t spend the night there.
All for now . . .

Glad to hear Jackson will be ready. Hopefully Carriker will be back also.
