Updating a previous report . . .

Steven Jackson took part in most drills today during practice at Rams Park, taking about a third of the snaps with the first team. Jackson missed last Sunday’s game at New England with a strained thigh muscle, and Antonio Pittman started at running back.

Ron Bartell, who missed a couple of series vs. the Patriots with a stinger, was on the field with the first team. Fellow cornerback Tye Hill (knee) also got in some team work and could be ready for Sunday’s game against Arizona. Defensive end Leonard Little (hamstring) and defensive tackle Adam Carriker (ankle) did individual work and took a couple of reps in team drills.

All for now . . .

I agree with everyone that says Jackson was right in not playing. Why chance an injury in a game that they were not supposed to win. Instead lets get him healthy for the Division opponents and see what he can do. Two games out of the West lead with a very favorable schedule. Cmon Rams fans I admit that I was down on them and I am a PSL owner but what I have seen in the last couple of weeks on Defense and offense gives us more hope than we ever had this year.

Why do so many sniveling so-called fans waste time from their miserable lives to blog about something they know so little about. YOU folks that complain about everything, booing and blogging the Rams right back to California. Are you as critical of yourself, your family. You surely never accomplished anything worthy of folks gathering to watch you. To the rest of you, please excuse my rant, and enjoy the game. These Rams have talent, and this coach gets them to compete for 60 minutes. This run should be fun to watch.

Hey sheriff,

Your comparing Steven Jackson to Marshall Faulk? Are you kidding. Jackson is not even close to being a leader or competitor compared to Faulk. Jackson should have taken himself out of the Dallas game after his long TD run!! Every fan I was with were screaming when he returned to the field!! Look what happened!! A “real” leader huh? Faulk was a better blocker, receiver, and runner than Jackson. I have a feeling Marshall would NEVER miss having had a second chance against the Pats!! Don’t compare Steven to a future Hall of Famer. I still think Steven can get better but there is no comparison…yet.
