Josh Brown receives monthly award

Kicker Josh Brown has been named the NFC’s special-teams player of the month. In three games in October, Brown hit on nine of 10 field goal attempts, including 52- and 51-yarders, and made all five of his extra-point kicks. Also, Brown saved a touchdown Sunday at New England when he brought down Ellis Hobbs after a 49-yard kickoff return.
For the season, Brown has been successful on 14 of 16 FGs and 10 of 10 PATs.
