Looker having tests for brain abnormality
Wide receiver Dane Looker is undergoing several medical tests after doctors discovered what he described as a spot on his brain. Until a firm diagnosis is made, Looker is being held out of practice and games.
Looker, an eight-year veteran, suffered a concussion Sept. 28 against the Buffalo Bills. A CAT scan taken afterward revealed an abnormality, although it apparently was undetected until a re-examination of the results this week. It is unrelated to the concussion, team physician Matt Matava said. Matava said the tests were being done to rule out the presence of an aneurysm.
Looker underwent an MRA (magnetic resonance angiography) exam Tuesday and was scheduled for an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) exam Wednesday afternoon. On Thursday, doctors will perform an angiogram, in which dye is sent into his brain through his femoral artery.
All for now . . .

This Bills fan hopes he’ll be okay. In some weird way, maybe that concussion he got was fortunate.
And another Bills fan wishes him well. I know all the players will wish him well also.
Wishing him well from Buffalo…
I think the best case scenario is that if they had the tests done at St. Anthony’s Hospital, most likely the machine operator was incompetent leading to false results. However, if they were done at any other hospital, I wish him the best.
As Bills fans in Buffalo we know all about bouncing back, especially with last year’s injury to Kevin Everett. My best wishes to his family and the fans of St. Louis.
