No practice for Jackson; RB Darby works with first team

Neither Steven Jackson nor his backups at running back, Antonio Pittman and Travis Minor, are on the practice field this morning at Rams Park. Jackson has a strained thigh muscle that kept him out of the New England game on Oct. 26 and rendered him ineffective last Sunday vs. Arizona. Pittman pulled a hamstring against the Cardinals, and Minor suffered a concussion.

Coach Jim Haslett has said he wants to see Jackson go through a full practice some day this week before he’ll play him Sunday against the Jets.

Kenneth Darby is working with the first team at RB, backed up by newly signed Samkon Gado.

All for now . . . more after practice.

I’ve seen Ken Darby play a lot of college ball. Don’t be surprised if he does really well against the Jets. He’s motivated, and the kid just needs a chance. He deserves it.

This team is full of CANDY CAKES from top to bottom. Year after year the injuries these men have are only because they need to toughen up. Marc Bulger is suppose to be the leader of this 0ffense, and if anyone needs to be in the weight room it`s him. I know some women that can bench press more then him. Even in the GSOT days, this team, was considered soft!!

Marc Bulger is not a leader , does nothing for this team.He never shows the rah-rah needed to lead he is always looking as if he is lost a good leader will rally his troops in game or on sidelines. he has no creativity in him at all a QB has to be creative and rally the troops i.e. Kurt Warner
