Rams challenge record for futility
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – On Nov. 25, 1956, in Baltimore, the Rams surrendered a franchise-high 42 points in a half (the first) en route to a 56-21 defeat.
Some 52 years later, the current Rams challenged that mark of futility by giving up 40 points in the first half Sunday against the Jets.
That’s right . . . it’s 40-0 at halftime.
Yikes!
All for now . . . an ugly Report Card is coming after the game.
