Rams running back Steven Jackson back on sideline

Steven Jackson’s quest to get back into the lineup for Sunday’s game at San Francisco has hit a snag. After taking about half the reps in practice Wednesday, Jackson was in sweats and watching from the sideline when practice began Thursday at Rams Park. After a few minutes Jackson went inside, presumably to get treatment on his ailing thigh muscle.
Apparently the injury didn’t respond well after Wednesday’s workout. We’ll talk with Jackson after practice.

Thanks Hasslett what a @hole you play him in the 4th quater with a 21 point lead with 3 minutes to go???? Then you let Pittman go the entire week without practice and start him and push Jackson on wed. to practice and look now!!!!!What a joke of a coach.
What a shame a guy with so much talent has to be such a wimp. Anquan Boldin is going over the middle catching passes and getting hammered by linebackers less than 3 weeks after breaking his face. He knows the difference between being injured and playing hurt. Come on Mr. Jackson, man up.
Ever since S-Jax said take him over LT in FFL drafts 2 years ago he has sucked like no one’s business.
Yes play him Scott. In case you forgot the whiner sat out the entire training camp b/c he didn’t want to honor the contract he had previously signed. He was not and won’t be in game shape all year—his fault not the coaches.

Injuries are unforeseen and blame should not be placed on anyone. This is not flag football and unfortunately players will get hurt. Go Rams!!!!
i bet you he would have faught through this last year playing for new contract…. give me a break….
Injuries happen, I know that. But he chose not to honor the contract in hand and sit out the preseason. He’s complained about Rams fans not showing up at games. In reality, he’s been a no-show all season long. Rams and Rams fans are getting little in return for their dollars.
Hello, Rams fans but this season is over. Jackson needs to be fully healthy before returning. I know he held out and all the crap around it but give the guy a break. I have been a long life rams fan and I want him healthy. We can’t do it this year so lets hope the off season brings good health and great picks to a team that really needs it. The front office of this team is the biggest reason we have a lousy team. Not SJ
