Wide receivers Dante Hall and Drew Bennett will be placed on injured reserve, ending their seasons. Hall suffered a high ankle sprain in Sunday’s 34-13 loss to Arizona. Bennett has been slow to recover since breaking a bone in his foot in the season-opener.

Hall also was the main return man. Coach Jim Haslett indicated that Derek Stanley would take over those duties.

Linebacker Chris Draft has a fractured right foot, meaning that Quinton Culberson will return to the lineup.

Also, recently signed Kenneth Darby right now is the team’s only healthy running back and could be the starter Sunday when the Rams meet the Jets in New York. The availability of Steven Jackson (thigh), Antonio Pittman (hamstring) and Travis Minor (concussion) is undetermined at this point.

All for now . . .

Are you sure about Dante Hall? Your story is the only one I’ve heard. I dropped him from my team where he was the overall #2 scorer. Please please let me know your source is accurate. Somebody else already picked him up.
The human joystick has always been 1 of my favorite NFL players, hope this doesn’t end his career.

The season is over ?? It never should’ve started. First of I’m still stunned that we choose Bennett over Bruce. Don’t give me that “Bruce is old” crap the guy is still productive and ah by the way he’s on the field..wow. Kevin Curtis was and is more productive than this guy thanks to Linehan and our crack (pot) front office moves like these where the norm. Let’s see Hmmm, if Dante Hall was still any good do think K.C. would’ve traded him, I don’t think so. Again the Rams Brain-Crust thought better, I mean there just can’t possibly be a young college player that can return kicks and punts for positive yards or catch a pass. This is what gets me about the NFL, they hang on to these vet’s that are done talent wise with salaries that chew cap space and cut young guys that can’t possibly be any worse, the only thing missing with the youngsters is experience. Case in point Dante vs Derrick Stanley it is perfectly clear to me that Stanley was way more productive and healthier than Hall during the pre-season still Stanley was cut. Another example in Detroit, were ex-Ram Travis Fisher continues to get “fried” every week, and you mean to tell me that out all of the college players that are scouted by these “professionals” none are better than some of these vets that soak up cap space and are on the other end of the High-Lite Reel every sunday ? Come on NFL. Don’t take my word for it, the next time you’re watching a game check out some of these over-paid clowns and know that some where there was/is a guy out of college that didn’t make the team because of some worthless vet.
