St. Louis Rams Marc Bulger, Steven Jackson, Orlando Pace practicing

The Rams’ three injured former Pro Bowlers — quarterback Marc Bulger, running back Steven Jackson and left tackle Orlando Pace — are suited up and practicing today at Rams Park.

Bulger suffered a concussion on the fifth play last Sunday against the Bears. He was scheduled to have a neuro exam this morning. Apparently he passed.

Jackson has missed four of the last five games with a strained thigh muscle. Coach Jim Haslett insists that Jackson participate fully in practice before returning to game action.

Pace missed the Bears game after suffering ligament damage to his knee the week before at San Francisco. It was thought to be a two- to four-week injury, but Pace was running on the sideline late last week.

All for now . . . more after practice.

Do you think its wise to push Jackson back into practice? I feel like he needs one more week off.

No, we need him! What’s to wait for–he’s missed enough time.

he’s obviously ready to go…otherwise he wouldn’t have worked out on saturday and monday. im not a rams fan, but if i was paying this cat X amount of millions of dollars, i’d expect him to play regardless of team record. the last thing rams fans need is another 30-3 crushing at home.

I think we should let Marc, Steven and Orlando continue to sit out while collecting their outlandish paychecks. This way the Rams can use them as their excuse for pathetic football week after week. Maybe Marc and Orlando can do guestspots on Steven’s weekly radio show, similiar to what Jay Leno did on the Tonight Show for many years, and collect even more money. Isn’t that what Rams football is all about?

Get em out there. Might as well, they certainly can’t do any worse and it might show just a little bit of heart if they are playing and are not at 100% health. Even though they are a disappointment (understatement) they are still the ST. LOUIS Rams and I’ll still be at the games every Sunday cheering them on despite what Mr. Incognito has to say about it. GO RAMMIES!!!!

I’m miffed by this Jackson injury. A bruised/strained thigh? Maybe soft tissue injurys (?) take longer to heal. I have seen players break bones and be back in less time than he has been out. Anquin Boldin broke his face and is back to playing at a high level.

It’s “injuries”. “Miffed”?! That’s a strange word to use on a sports blog. Wouldn’t “pissed off” be better?

It’s actually Anquan too. I didn’t know we took off points for spelling. Thanks for the free English lesson. My point was Jackson is laying up on the Rams and the fans. He held out of training camp, had one good game against a team that passed on him in the draft and now is seeing a specialist for a bruise. In my opinion he’s goldbricking.

First pictue-joke, 2nd picture-bigger joke, 3rd picture-the biggest joke of them all. What a waste of money. Still won’t be watching any more Rams games this year.

I couldn’t imagine Bulger staying out now that he knows Jackson and Pace are back. They just might make him look good..

I’m glad to see Steven back the others as well. But, it has appeared to me that if Jackson isn’t playing then the Rams won’t give forth any type of effort. Also, when OP isn’t playing well you all know the rest. I still hope and wish that they’d have an open try-outs. I’m 100% sure I could play better than CB better than anyone on that team. Heck my friends and I are having our annual Turkey Game tommorrow in Baden on North Broadway, maybe some Rams coach’s can come down and do some recruiting. Tackle NO PADS!

Thanks goodness! With these guys in there at least all our excuses will be gone. Wait, except for the fans! They can still blame the fans when they get smacked around.

You’ve got that right, they’re like the old rusty car. It may not look good but it gets you from point A to B. In there case they may not play well, but at least they’re entertaining and we have a team.

Now let’s get on with those open try-outs. hahaha

I pray that the Rams game won’t be televised, so I can watch some other random game that may or may not have a few fantasy players going!

That is the state of football in St. Louis

I personally would rather see Pace retire, Jackson sit out the rest of the season, and Berlin get all of the first team snaps, and the start for the rest of the year

I don’t personally care about the Rams. They aren’t very good. That said, I drafted SJ as my stud running back in my fantasy football league this year and my playoffs start tomorrow! I need him back! I just can’t start Tim Hightower again.. Come on Steven! Please?

Jackson’s a fake. Figured he needed a few weeks off so he invents a thigh injury. There’s no way medically to verify his “injury” and he knew it going in. The guy’s bad news.
