Rockettes get their kicks at St. Louis Rams practice
It’s not every day that an NFL team gets a visit from the Radio City Rockettes at practice. But that’s exactly what happened Friday at Rams Park, when two members of the touring production performing at the Fox Theatre showed up in full costume. Afterward, they posed for photos and practiced high kicks with linebacker Chris Draft, who narrated “The Night Before Christmas” at a recent performance.

Several of his teammates insisted that Donnie Jones should’ve been selected the NFC’s punter for the Pro Bowl instead of the Giants’ Jeff Feagles. Coach Jim Haslett thought safety Oshiomogho Atogwe deserved serious consideration, too. But Atogwe was satisfied with the NFC picks: Green Bay’s Nick Collins, Arizona’s Adrian Wilson and Philadelphia’s Brian Dawkins.
“The Pro Bowl is one of those things where you can have a great season and you just get missed,” Atogwe said. “I think the safeties in the NFC who got selected have all played well this year.”

Rebuilding the culture of a losing team can’t be accomplished in midstream, Haslett stressed.
“That’s something you really start back in training camp,” he said. “Teams that have gone through a couple of losing seasons fight it all the time. It’s a way of life. If they don’t believe they can win, it’s something you’re going to fight all the time. I think that’s an ongoing process with a team that’s lost a couple of years in a row.”

Asked whether he would’ve kept Isaac Bruce had he been the Rams’ head coach last February, Haslett said: “I’m going to stay out of that,” he said, then added: “But I don’t think you can have enough good players on your team. He’s a good football player.”
Feel free to read between the lines.
All for now. . .

Someone from this defense on the Pro Bowl team? Maybe the Rockettes could play on Sunday that might sell some tickets.
This Rams defense would have more selectees to the NFL “All Toast Team” than any other club. These are the WORST set of linebackers I have ever seen. OJ “Burnt Orange” Atogwe doesn’t deserve pro bowl status. Look at the blown coverage last week against the Shehawks that cost the Rams the game. Wow!
