The Rams may or may not have a new head coach next season. They’ll definitely have a new radio home.

Bonneville St. Louis Radio Group announced Tuesday that it has purchased the Rams’ broadcast rights for 2009 and 2010. The games will be aired on its new all-sports station, at 101.1 FM. The station is set to debut Jan. 1.

For the last nine years, Rams games have been carried on 103.3 FM, a Clear Channel Communications outlet.

*RB Steven Jackson had no problems with his hamstring at practice Tuesday, coach Jim Haslett reported. Jackson tweaked the muscle late in the first half Sunday vs. the 49ers but stayed in the game and wound up carrying 32 times for 108 yards.

*An MRI exam disclosed that G Jacob Bell has a grade one, or mild, hamstring pull.

*Believe it or not, Pisa Tinoisamoa is playing weakside linebacker in the NFL at 220 pounds.

*Because of the holiday week, the coaches began game-planning for the Falcons late last week, then picked it up again Monday and for part of Tuesday.

All for now . . .

Steve: I have to agree with you. Coach Hanifan is great. Listening to the broadcast on Sirius, at first I thought he was a bit ‘rough’, but after he hacked a bolder on the air…that was too cool. You go coach.
