Ex-St. Louis Rams assistant hired by Carolina
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Slowly but surely, members of the Rams’ holdover coaching staff from 2008 continue to find jobs. The latest is defensive line coach Brian Baker, who has taken the same position with the Carolina Panthers.
A 13-year veteran of NFL coaching, Baker came in with Scott LInehan’s original Rams staff in 2006. Baker is the second former Rams assistant to be hired by Carolina, joining secondary coach Ron Milus. Baker is the 12th of 19 coaches on Linehan’s Rams staff to find work.

LETS TRADE DREW FOR A 7TH RD PICK,RE-WORK TORRY HOLTS DEAL,THE SAME FOR
PACE,TRADE STEVEN MISS MORE GAMES JACKSON,TRADE BULGER TO THE VIKINGS
FOR A SECOND RD PICK,OK MAYBE A 5TH RD PICK,DRAFT CRABTREE AT #2 STOP USING THE FIRST PICK ON AN OT.I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE ALL THE PLAYERS CUT THAT DO NOT
PERFORM,I THINK SCOTT LINAHAN NEEDS THEM IN A LIONS UNIFORM.I CAN’T WAIT ON THE DRAFT.GO RAMS
What part of “Bulger and Jackson won’t be traded due to the negative impact on the team salary cap” do some of you Bozos not understand?? I doubt some of you can even balance a checkbook with $100.00 in it!
Easy knuckles, but just remember Jim how long the list of ex-Rams that have played well for other teams is. Things have been let go in the past that I hope won’t be allowed to continue with the new management. I hate to see a player like Chavous let go but feel it is the start of some difficult moves to define the game of the new Rams and some “definition” is exciting. Good luck Corey!
When was the last time you saw Chavous make a play? Your grandmother could beat him. Face it he was too slow! You’re right: great guy but it’s NFLnetwork time for him. I’m excited about the draft and the fact that Rosenbloom has brought ‘football people’ back in the organization. Spagnulo will make the team tougher like it was back in the L.A. days.
It may take 2-3 years but ‘WE WILL BE BACK’! GO RAMS!!!!!!!
Okay …..first we gotta let go of some dead weight….namely Barron and a few other “busts” like Dante Hall and Green…then go after the likes of a new anchor on the o-line…ya build from the inside out…get a center like the kid from baltimore then draft a DUDE and get some guys in free agency and diamonds in the rough later on from the undrafted free agents…..then add a full back and a defensive mauling type linebacker and a shutdown corner…..top that off with a few nice speedy wideouts in the late round of the draft and off we go…..
Pace is hurt all the time,Bulger needs to sit or retire,Rams need a secondary,an offensive line, and wide recievers.Hell they need almost everything.Get Peppers or Haynesworth.Draft a reciever, and O-line help this draft is full of O-line people and Linebackers.Start from scratch with players our new coach can trust.
