Free-agent center Jason Brown plans to visit St. Louis Rams
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Wasting no time in getting going on free agency, the Rams plan to bring in Baltimore center Jason Brown for a visit Friday. The Rams made one of their first calls in free agency to Brown’s agent, setting up the visit just after the 12:01 a.m. Eastern time start to the free agency period. At 6-3, 320 pounds, Brown would bring some much needed size to the center position for St. Louis.
Just 25 years old, Brown started all 16 regular-season games, plus three playoff games, for the Ravens at center last season. But his 30 previous career starts all came at left guard.

wow this would be huge. The Rams are in Desperate Need of a Center with Size! no messing this up give the man 8 mill a year. Also they are bringing in Bart Scott i Heard so then if they get both of them. They Can Cut Pace and Draft either Jason Smith, Or Munroe!!.
LETS GO RAMS!
foxsports.com is reporting both Brown and Scott will be visiting the Rams. Even one of them signing would be nice.
Give these guys the money they want. This would go a long way in turning this team around. Draft monroe and get spags to shape up congnito and we have a pretty good o line, and a good start on turning around the D. Go Rams
Wow! Getting Brown would be a major step in fixing the Rams Oline and in rebuilding the team. Then if they could also get Bart Scott that meets their need at MLB. Two really big steps. Would be GREAT if these two work out. This shows the Rams are really on the right track.
I can’t believe he is coming here unless we are just giving him the keys to the vault. This would give us a LOT more flexability in the draft.
wow these are exciting times! would much rather have a young Brown than an old Birk.
Sign him! Go Devaney go!
DO NOT LET HIM LEAVE TOWN W/O SIGNING A CONTRACT! THIS WOULD BE A HUGE PICKUP! GO GET HIM BILLY!
I agree you have to get one of these guys if not both. Overpay if you have to!! (which you are going to have to do to bring anyone to the Lou)
Players love money but they have pride also. No one is eager to lose 42 to 3 on Sundays. The front office and coaching change helped stablize the situation but ultimately the Rams will have to out bid the other teams significantly to land the better free agents. So lets over pay!
