Ex-St. Louis Ram Orlando Pace visits Ravens

Those who know Orlando Pace said the big left tackle had four possible options following his release last week by the St. Louis Rams.

1.) Play for a team in his native state of Ohio.

2.) Play for a team in Florida. (He has an offseason home in Orlando, Fla.)

3.) Play for a contending team.

4.) Retire.

At the moment, option No. 3 is in play. League sources told the Post-Dispatch on Tuesday night that the seven-time Pro Bowler will pay a free-agent visit to the Baltimore Ravens, who came close to a Super Bowl berth last season. Pace is scheduled to meet with the Ravens on Wednesday.

Second-year pro Jared Gaither, who turns 23 on Wednesday, started for the Ravens last season, stepping in for the retired Jonathan Ogden.

Meanwhile, the Rams’ other recently released seven-time Pro Bowler _ wide receiver Torry Holt _ remains out of the country on vacation.

Good for him, hope he gets back to the Superbowl with Balitmore if he signs, but I hope the Rams win it.

Wait . . . Holt “remains out of the country on vacation”?

I thought he demanded his release so he could find a job ASAP?

Who cares! The key word here is FORMER. Good luck to him, but I’m more concerned with the PRESENT Rams…not FORMER!

i think that it’s hilarious that holt is just chilling out of the country. good for him. doesn’t matter, his agent is going to handle all of this stuff for him, it’s not like holt needs to be out pounding the pavement like people jobhunting. i’m glad that pace is going to afc…hopefully holt does too…the sight of bruce singlehandedly beating the rams last year still haunts me…

Jesus said, ” I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

No one can get to God(heaven, eternal life, everlasting life) without Jesus.
Not through Allah, Not Muhammed, Not Budah, Not Hindu, Not New Age Mysticism, Not Crystal balls or Taro cards, Not Satan Worship,……Not of YOUR OWN SELF.

All in the name of Jesus.

While true that the Ravens were close to the SB last year, numerous roster changes have happened this year. I would not automatically consider them a contending team right now. Pace still has a few options. Hopefully he choose the right one and can finish his career with the same team moving him further up the possible HOF list. Following behind Jonathan Ogden would intense, but if he can stay healthy, he’ll pull it off.

As for Holt, great move in taking a vacation. Let the agents do the work. When the choices get narrowed down, he’ll come back and work out a deal. I see a great year for Torry coming up. He has something still to prove and he knows it. Good luck to the both of them.

Apostle Paul…I don’t come to the sports section to be preached too. Please take your jive somewhere else!

Torry is out of the Country enjoying a vacation, I also say good for him. After all he gave the RAMS he deserves it. I just know he’s gonna end up with a contender, and torch us whenever he plays us.

You heard it here first.

Good Luck wherever you end up Torry.
