FB Leonard Weaver agrees to terms with Philadelphia

St. Louis-based agent Harold Lewis tried to get the Rams interested in Seattle free-agent fullback Leonard Weaver. But the Rams were looking for a cheaper alternative at the position, signing former New Orleans Saint Mike Karney to a three-year, $3.5 million deal last week.
Weaver found a new team Friday, agreeing to a one-year, $2.5 million deal with incentives with Philadelphia.
Karney is a pure blocker,while Weaver is more of an all-around FB.Bottom line is that the Rams wanted a hammer for S.Jackson.Karney fits the bill.
Either one would have been fine by me. And guess what? Now Seattle doesn’t have him. HAHAHA!
