The St. Louis Rams have a new blocking specialist at tight end. Free agent Billy Bajema, who had spent his four previous seasons with the San Francisco 49ers, has agreed to terms with the Rams. Contract details weren’t immediately available. Bajema, 26, replaces Anthony Becht, who was released by the Rams earlier this month and subsequently signed with the Arizona Cardinals.

Bajema is a semi decent special teamer, and will play on running downs for the Rams.
Had only 7 catches in 3 seasons with the Whiners.

McMichael, Klop, Fells, Bajema. 4 into 3 wont go?

Another good signing by the Rams. This will really help short yardage and the power running game.

I think Klop will have to have a great camp to keep his spot on the team if he is around that long. Another disappointing 2nd Round pick by the previous administration.

Bajema was a high school quarterback who primarily blocked at Oklahoma State, but who can catch the ball. He’s also a smart guy and the type of personality that Spagnuolo and Devaney want. I understand this hire and hope it works out.
