Former St. Louis Ram Isaac Bruce to continue playing

After considering retirement during the offseason, wide receiver Isaac Bruce has decided to return to San Francisco for his 16th NFL season, league sources told the Post-Dispatch Wednesday morning.
Bruce, 36, had been given what was termed an “informal” deadline of April 1 to decide whether he would retire or continue playing. After spending his first 14 seasons with the St. Louis Rams, Bruce signed with the 49ers last offseason. He led San Francisco with 61 catches for 835 yards and seven touchdowns in 2008.
Good to hear, he can still play another two years, just wish he was not on the 49ers.
My thoughts completely. After leaving in the Bay Area for years I hate to see Issac with those Whinners. Hopefully when he does retire it will be as a Ram!!!
I still can’t believe we let Isaac Bruce go. He is full of class and dignity, and can still play football. I wish he were still A Ram. Go Ike!

No doubt he will retire as a Ram. When you say rams it makes you automatically think bruce,However I hope he does not kick our buts like last season.
Now that I think about it lets hope Chip will bring him back for a day to retire as a Ram.
wasn’t he told if he came back he’d strictly be a backup? he was the best receiver they had last year — what a joke.
Letting him go was my saddest day as a fan! Also hope we reitre his number, I think he is currently #2 NFL all-time receiver in yards. Class act, cool dude!

But who’s with me and thinks that he should do what Jerry Rice did with the niners. Sign a ceremonial contract at the end of his career with the ONLY team he truly loved ?
Isaac Bruce should have retired with dignity with the Rams…the St Louis front office should be ******* ashamed of themselves.
He is the MAN… Can still out play most, good for the hated 49′er. Unforuntely they appear to be making all the good moves that make sense.
