St. Louis Rams QB Marc Bulger not going anywhere
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Forget the rumors. Rams quarterback Marc Bulger is staying put _ at least for the 2009 season. Despite speculation that the New York Jets had expressed interest in trading for Bulger, Rams sources told the Post-Dispatch on Friday evening that no such conversation had taken place with the Jets.
The Rams planned to talk with the Jets today (Saturday), but only to gauge the Jets’ interest in possibly trading up to the No. 2 spot overall in the draft.
Coach Steve Spagnuolo and offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur are committed to Bulger for this season, and both have liked what they’ve seen from the two-time Pro Bowler thus far this offseason, the team sources told the Post-Dispatch.

What are they offering?
If we can dump Bulger on anybody, WE SHOULD DO IT!
What does Bulger do to convince everyone on the coaching staff that he’s the man….. as a fan… I want to see him do it on the field…..and I haven’t seen it yet!!!!
Dump the BUM !!
They aren’t going to tip their hand and say what is really going to happen. The team source could be the parking attendant. Sanchez in…. watches Bulger throw off back foot for 3 games and takes over and leads us to the SuperBowl……Only an hour until the draft,,, this is so cool.
All you Bulger bashers need to wake up and smell the coffee. I would like to see you play QB behind that line we’ve had the last couple years. Remember the days we were saying the same things about a guy named Kurt Warner a few years back.
Dropping to 17 is quite a drop! If they trade Bulger who would be the Qb? Boller.
These so called Rams fans on here, dont know much, i have been a lifelong rams fan since i grew up in L.A. i thought the best thing they did was leave that city, i am starting to wonder if they should leave st. louis as well. Marc Bulger is not the problem. The problem was the previous coaching staff. The injuries. Granted he can improve. However, the offensive line must be stronger. The players have to be healthy. I think they are getting a good core of players to get this team going with. True fans support the team regardless of wins or losses. It is understandable to want changes, however do it with some class.
What are all you thinking, everyone is so down on Bulger. How could anyone tell how he played, when he is the highest sacked quarterback in the league. If any QB doesn’t have time make his reads, no one can be effective. If he has protection he can be a top 10 QB in the league. Bringing in a rookie is the solution? I don’t think so. They have to build the line to have ANY quarterback on the Rams to be successful. I read all these comments all the time, a message to all the Ram fans, THE GREATEST SHOW ON TURF IS OVER!!! Just like many good things, they must come to an end. Everyone needs to move on from that. As we are all Rams fans, we have to be excited in the change at the front office, new coaching staff and new personel. They are turning it around but it will not be over night, Let Spags and Devaney deal with it. So everyone that says boring, relax Rome wasn’t built in a day.
All you guys, pickin’ on Bulger “…,that’s UNFAIR, Man! That’s my QUARTERBACK”!(sniff) Go Rams!!
We just got James. Laurinaitis!!!
