The sun is shining and the team will be back outdoors for this morning’s practice on Day 2 of Steve Spagnuolo’s second minicamp with the Rams. On Friday, the first practice was held outside and the second forced indoors because of rain.

Here are the numbers that some of the new Rams are wearing, along with a few vets who have changed their number:

Keith Null, 9

Laurent Robinson, 11

Kyle Boller, 12

Chris Ogbonnaya, 22

Antonio Pittman, 25 (30 last year)

Justin King, 31 (32 last year)

Bradley Fletcher, 32

Kenneth Darby, 34 (33 last year)

Mike Karney, 44

Billy Bajema, 47

James Laurinaitis, 55

Jason Brown, 60

Jason Smith, 77

Brooks Foster, 89

Darell Scott, 97

All for now . . . more later.

Why does the backup QB always have to be #12?

wow, are they paying you for this insightful reporting, giving the numbers. Hey genius, how about some complex stuff like which rooks are getting yelled at the most, who is running good routes, who is dropping the ball. Who is a vocal leader, how is the NEW coach conducting himself, how are the players responding to him and the new staff? I know this is complex stuff, but come on, even if you work for a 2 bit rag, you have to have some idea of what’s going on1!! Is this your idea of reporting, or did you just mail it in b/c you were at the bar?

Slick, what’s your problem? If somebody doesn’t tell us the new players’ numbers, we won’t know them. The Reporter does provide other information as well.

Hey, Peter man. Nick Leckey was #60 last year and started the season at Center. We didn’t even get close to the Big Dance last year. I don’t know what the deal is the the back-up QB being #12 these days. I figured Boller would be #8, which was the number he started his career with… I don’t think we have a #8 and I don’t think it’s retired since Chip Lohmiller wore it.
