Dave Checketts says again he’s interested in Rams
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
In an interview with the Deseret News in Salt Lake City, Dave Checketts re-affirmed his desire to try to purchase the Rams. “It would be a great next step, it really would,” he told the paper.
Checketts first told Bernie Miklasz of the Post-Dispatch last week that he would like to put together a group of investors to purchase the controlling share of the Rams from majority owners Chip Rosenbloom and Lucia Rodriguez, who are selling their 60 percent of the team.

What is the current ownership and coaching staff doing to connect with the fans? By comparison, what are the NFL’s 5 best and 5 worst teams doing, in the off-season, to connect with the fans? Does the current ownership really care about St. Louis?
I remain a die-hard Rams fan, and have since 1948. Sell “our” Rams to an owner who “speaks” football. Present ownership’s resolve to perfection is doubtful given its huge contract re-newal for Mark “ho hum, don’t hurt me” Bulger. If we have a winning season, it will be in spite of Mark, if we have a losing season, it will be because of Mark. Yes, I know he’s a nice guy, but so was Pat Haden and Tony Banks. Go Rams….Jim Conner
