Dates set for Rams to wear “throwback” uniforms
The Rams will wear “throwback” uniforms for two home games this year, the Oct. 11 contest against the Minnesota Vikings and the Dec. 20 game against the Houston Texans, league sources confirmed to the Post-Dispatch on Thursday afternoon.
A formal team announcement on the throwback uniforms is expected soon, perhaps as soon as later today. Teams are allowed to wear throwback uniforms, commemorating the uniforms of past franchise teams, a maximum of three times in a season. But one of those three games has to be an exhibition game, and the Rams decided not to wear throwbacks in the preseason.
The Rams have chosen to wear their old navy blue and canary yellow uniforms, last worn by the Super Bowl XXXIV championship team. A fitting choice since this is the 10th anniversary of that 1999 squad.
I wish they would bust out the Old Blue and Whites for a game. Those are the Uni’s from my first memories as a Rams fan. Got one for my 5th Christmas out of the Old Sears catalog. LOL

Its about time they decided to use the old school uniforms. Ever since we’ve changed Jerseys, we haven’t won the superbowl. But I guess we can’t be to greedy we did at least make it back 2 years later. But hey…. I hope they bring that Magic back like they did in ‘99. And speaking of Jerseys, they should come out with a all GOLD Jersey with the Blue Numbers and Letters, that would be hot. Other then that, have a great season RAMS, u deserve it.
I’ve never liked the current uniforms. I wish they’d keep the “throwbacks” and ditch these navy & gold jerseys.
Here’s a second vote for the blue and whites…now THAT is throwback! The royal blue and yellow will bring back some good memories. I just hope the good memories overpower the bad!
I agree. Keep the throwback jersey’s. Either the blue and white, or blue and yellow. The current uniforms are drab and boring. Not much contrast.
Cool, it is nice to throw in the throwbacks every once in a while. Maybe it will help play better in front of the home folks this year.
I too wish they would wear their old Blue & White’s…it not only was a tougher looking uniform but with the great teams they had (Yes, no Super Bowl) some great teams and more importantly…great players.
Uh, no, thanks but I wouldn’t mind to change the color similar to U of Michigan (Maze/blue). No ugly horns on the sleeves, please.

I love the RAM HEAD LOGO, BUT THAT COULD BE IN THE MIDDLE of the V KNECK! and PUT THE HORNS BACK ON THE SLEEVES…. RAM FAN FOR LIFE!!! GO RAMS!!!
