Rams-Packers game is officially a sellout
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
With an assist from what is expected to be thousands of Packers fans, the Rams’ 2009 home opener Sunday against Green Bay has met NFL sellout requirements. As such it will be televised locally in the St. Louis area.
Kevin Demoff, the Rams’ executive vice president of football operations, said about 300 tickets actually remain for sale as a result of returns from the Green Bay organization and some charities. He said many of those seats are on the lower level of the Edward Jones Dome.

Nothing worse than to be outnumbered in your own house — and pay good money for the privilege. Just ask Royals fans when the Cards are in town. Here’s hoping the Rams have the last cheer on Sunday.
I wonder is there will be a sign in the end zone stating ‘Lambeau South’ like there was 2 years ago? Can’t believe that was allowed to hang the whole game. Leonard Little will have a big day vs. Pack backup at LT
I don’t think it will be quite like Cards fans at a Royals game. Well over half the fans are Cards fans. And the sea of Red, not comparable in my book for any team in sports.
___Is it true that Amtrak had to add several special trains running from Green Bay to St. Louis?
Thanks for the positive spin Jim - so if there’s 60,000 Rams fans and 6,000 Packers fans, you must be a glass half empty kind of guy.
I’m just glad Packer fans bought enough tickets to get the game on TV.
A sellout thanks to all the Packers fans.
rkorando - Lambeau South is exactly what it should be again.
I love it.

It’s great that people feel comfortable visiting St. Louis. Welcome Guests. Rent our rooms. Buy our Beer. Humble our football team. Tell your friends, comeback next year. We’ll leave a receiver open for you.
Ron,
Hope you stick your cheese hat out there where we can find it. Your slackers are nothing to right home about, just ask Cincy. The Vikes will bury you and the best you can get in your division is third. Yes, the Pack is very capable of beating the Rams, but that is not saying much. We all know that Mike McCarthy and Ted Thompson are bunch of rubber bananas and their end of season record will prove this out!!!!
